The team at Lookatmedia™ view climate change in the most negative of ways. We don’t aim to reduce our carbon emission to neutral by 2030, we’ve made our (and your) media centres carbon negative today and in perpetuity. How? For every article posted on any Lookatmedia™ centre, we commit to planting a tree.

The role you play

It’s simple, if you post 5 articles a month on your Lookatmedia centre, you’re allowing us to plant 5 trees on your behalf. If you do this over 12 months, that's 60 trees capturing 260KG of carbon each year. That’s capturing half of your individual carbon offset for the year. If you increase the content you publish (which is easy and fun) on Lookatmedia™, you can reduce your carbon offset to neutral or negative, something the Lookatmedia™ team have already achieved.

Think globally, act globally

We’ve put our own spin on the ecological mantra of thinking ‘Think globally, act globally’. Our in initiative extends beyond our shores. We want to support global reforestation initiatives. We have the environmental non for profits we support today, but we’re always open to listening out for other organisations committed to real responses to climate change. We’re open to any ideas our clients may suggest.

Combatting science deniers

We believe in the impact our modern lifestyles have on the climate. We are concerned about the future but hopeful about the power of humanity. We know we need to do more than just plant trees. We know that Lookatmedia™ has an essential role in combating the misinformation spread from sources with nefarious, short-term goals. We know more accurate illustrated stories in the media play an important role in tackling science deniers. We support our clients' role in restoring balance in a conversation we need to have now. We are proud of the small part we play in the defining issue of our time.
